Hey you, how are you doing?

I could start with telling you how long it has been since my last post or how much I have missed writing. I choose not start that way. I choose to start by asking you how you are doing. How are you doing? I mean for real, how are you doing? I hope you’ll leave a comment for me telling me how you’re doing. I would like to know. That said, I hope that you’re doing ok. I hope that things are going well for you. If they are not, I’m hoping that you’re closer to making them alright.

You’ve heard about the importance of checking up on people. You’ve maybe even had the need for someone to check up on you. You might have lost someone close to you. Whatever it is you’ve experienced since the pandemic, I hope that you’re still maintaining your sanity. That is very important. Challenges come by everyday and making sure you stay sane through all of it is very crucial because it’s hard to deal with anything when your mind is all over the show.

I wanted to reflect on my own life in this post, I wanted to write and then later read what is happening in my life. I wanted to be my own sounding board with you on the sideline to help me get my thoughts right. I thought that it would help me find the best way to move forward. I instead felt it best to check on you first. I wanted to make sure you’re okay before I bombard you with my issues, because trust me I have issues. I have issues coming out of my…. I apologies, let me not get carried away.

I will not take what is bothering you away, it’s yours after all, but I may be able to help/support you in finding a way to get yourself out of it. I’ll buy the tissue if you need to cry. I’ll lend a shoulder though I must warn you that I lost weight so it’s not as fatty as it used to be. It’s comfortable still though. You might be at the height of your life and just want to share the good news without being judged as pompous. I’ll listen, I’ll congratulate you. I will drink to your success. I’ll help you celebrate. You deserve that. I’m sure you’ve put in the work to achieve it. Come I’ll party with you. I’ll buy the drinks.

Get in touch, leave a comment, give me a call, write an email, send a text. I’m saying I’m here and I’ll listen with no judgement. I will be kind in my response if that is what you need. You don’t have to do it alone.

🎶lean on me, when you’re not strong, I’ll be your strength, I’ll help you carry on……🎶🎶
